FAQ

Is Non-Refundable Deposit a payment for no reason?

Just like booking a Venue or Florist or Photographer, you need to put a deposit to secure the date to get the service. The same thing apply if a Client would like to order a cake from us. Just by communicating via telephone, texts or emails, does not mean that you get the date secured for you. You still have to pay the deposit to secure the date and service, especially if we have to buy special tools/materials to make your cake. Once you paid the deposit, means no one else can take the date and we are obliged fully to make your wedding cake, either deliver it to the venue or pick-up.

When you cancelled, that means we loose a business, because the one who paid the deposit first will get the date.  Instead of giving the date to others, we gave it to you.

The deposit is also to pay for our time and labor spending on your cake project such as emails, phone calls, researching and buying special cake tools (if needed) for your wedding cake.

It would be so unfair for our Clients if we charged them for no reason. We want our Clients to be happy,  and we treat our Clients the way we wish to be treated
